Why is SkyTab not better known in the UK?

SkyTab entered the UK in 2025 to continue the growth that's captured 30% of the US market. Although the UK has some of the most stringent financial regulations in the world, SkyTab have progressively introduced feature upon feature since arriving here - and they're just getting started, with game-changing capabilities being migrated over from their US operation just as quickly as the UK regulators will allow. What types of business is SkyTab for?

What will my rate be with SkyTab?

Its a universal truth that even for the simplest of commodities, suppliers vary their pricing depending on the trading relationship - with businesses placing larger & more frequent orders receiving the most competitive rates. This general principle applies in the case of card payment processing, but with the significant added complexity of infinitely varying risk factors that each business poses to the Merchant Banks that underpin the entire system.
This results in the rate that individual merchants are offered varying - depending not only on the volume, but also the individual value of transactions, the ratio of each card type being processed, the ratio of remote payments, the level of credit and fraud risk posed etc. This is what prevents us offering a simple 'one-size-fits-all' rate.
What we can state up-front is that once your transacting history is verified and your rate agreed upon, it will then become THE rate used throughout the Agreement you're asked to sign, and will be THE rate applied throughout the lifetime of your contract.

What's the difference between 'SkyTab SOLO' & 'SkyTab POS'?

SkyTab SOLO is our 'standalone' card machine that's designed to be used where integration with a fully fledged POS system isn't required - although SOLO does offer a stripped down 'mini POS' of its own. See the SOLO page for more details.
